The Secrets of Consistent Success in Bow Hunting by
Trevon Stoltzfus, a former collegiate and freestyle wrestler and professional bull rider, was born and raised in southern New Mexico, where he had the privilege of working as an Elk, Mule Deer, and Antelope guide. From an early age the love of hunting, fishing, and the outdoors was instilled in him by a heritage passed down through his grandfather, uncles, and older cousins. Having taken numerous trophy big game animals he now desires to pass that passion for the outdoors on to others through the written word, outdoor seminars, television, and videos. Trevon has had the pleasure of being an outdoor writer in the hunting industry along with appearing on various outdoor TV shows. He is also one of the hosts of the popular OUTBACK OUTDOORS TV show on the Sportsman Channel. Trevon also is an outdoor seminar speaker and appears at many hunting and outdoor events sharing his love of the outdoors and personally teaching others the secrets of consistent success bow hunting for big game.
Seminars with avid hunters Donnelle Johnson and Lisa Thompson
Donnelle Johnson and Lisa Thompson have been hunting the Rocky Mountains for over two decades.
Donnelle, an Oklahoma native and collegiate tennis player, grew up fishing the Rocky Mountains with her father and later learned the art of hunting.
Lisa, a Montana native and collegiate basketball player at the University of Wyoming, grew up with a fishing pole in one hand and a shotgun in the other.
Lisa has harvested ten 6×6 bulls all DIY in various Rocky Mountain States. Donnelle harvested an archery 6×6 bull last year aided by Lisa and Wayne Carlton’s elk calling. They continue to refine the art of calling in trophy bulls and love learning the different sounds of nature. They formed an outdoor group Hunting Divas as well as both serve on the non profit board of Step Up Step Out. While finding personal success in the Big Game Outdoors has been rewarding, they continue to have a passion to pass this love on to the next generation.
Teaching and educating hunters remains a priority to them. They have shared many hunting techniques and successes in various platforms and events including: Bass Pro, Cabelas, Sportmans Warehouse, International Sportsman’s Show, Fox News, Primal Instinct, Colorado Bow Hunters, National Wildlife Turkey Federation, and Sportsman’s of Colorado radio show. Join them this weekend to learn the habits that have delivered success for them in the archery, muzzleloading and rifle hunting arenas.

Get hunting tips, recipes, and more!
This mushroom is a Lion’s Mane or Hericium. It has many antibiotic properties and loads of other goodies for our immune systems. Come by the booth and we will tell you all about it.
Consuming wild mushrooms can be a hazardous endeavor and in some cases even fatal! Before eating any mushroom collected from the wild it is absolutely critical that it is identified with certainty. An old mushroom hunters’ axiom states “When in doubt, throw it out”, such an embrace of skepticism can save your life.
As his nickname suggests, Tom knows a lot more about mushrooms than the average hunter. His father started bringing him along on mushroom hunts when he was just 3 years old. Through the years he learned about the unique relationship of mushrooms to trees, the best weather conditions and places to find them. Soon he became so skilled at finding mushrooms that when his friends in high school would have their annual hunt, he always came back with the most. Last year he traveled 54,000 miles hunting for mushrooms all around the country.
