Archery School of the Rockies

First, archery should always be fun and enjoyable. You should always enjoy picking up and shooting a bow no matter whether you’re shooting 3D targets or punching holes in paper; indoor or outside; compound, recurve, or longbow.
Second, archery should challenge you to grow. Whatever your personal goals in archery are (whether focused on winning competitions, personal relaxation, or hunting) our coaches will help you achieve those goals to the best of your ability no matter what skill level you begin at.

American Legion Shooting Education

Welcome! Post 209 in Colorado Springs is part of The American Legion, chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness and serving all veterans. Post 209 will be featuring an inflatable Daisy shooting range for education.

Boating Education with “Coastie” and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary

Check out Coastie!! The US Coast Guard Auxiliary Pikes Peak Flotilla will be bringing him to the Sportsman and Boat Expo to teach water safety.

As part of the Coast Guard Team, we serve southern Colorado.  The Coast Guard Auxiliary is composed of ambitious civilian volunteers donating tens of thousands of hours doing Vessel Safety Checks, Public Education Courses, Search and Rescue, Maritime Domain Awareness operations and Marine Safety.

Gold Prospectors of Colorado

Gold Prospectors of Colorado (GPOC) is a non-profit organization for gold prospectors in Colorado.  From El Paso County, all of Colorado and the rest of the nation, and around the world, our membership grows and remains strong!

GPOC is committed to educating the general public on gold prospecting and the science behind gold recovery. We demonstrate and teach gold panning at a variety of events, such as the Colorado Springs Sportsman & Boat Expo.
